Who runs this website?
AI Thinking is operated by Sarah Lahav, an individual based in Israel. Sarah is responsible for the personal information collected through this website.

Your privacy matters
AI Thinking is about understanding our thinking, asking questions and exploring how we interact with AI.
This page explains what personal information we collect, why we use it, which services help us and the choices available to you.
Information you choose to share
When you contact us, book a meeting or subscribe to our updates, we may receive your name, email address, booking details and anything you choose to include in your message.
We use this information to:
- Respond to your questions.
- Arrange meetings.
- Discuss or provide services you request.
- Send updates you have subscribed to.
Providing this information is voluntary, but we may need certain details to respond, arrange a booking or deliver your subscription.
Please avoid including sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your request.
Meeting bookings and email
We use Google Calendar for meeting bookings and Gmail for email correspondence.
If you book a meeting, Google processes the information you enter into its booking service. We use the booking details to arrange and manage our conversation.
Website analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how people discover and use the website, including which pages they visit and how they engage with our content.
Analytics may process information such as page visits, referral sources, browser and device information, online identifiers and approximate location.
Analytics is off unless you choose “Accept analytics”. Before you accept, we do not load the Google Analytics script or send analytics measurements through it. Choosing “Reject analytics” keeps it off.
If you accept, Google Analytics uses cookies, including _ga and a related session cookie, to help distinguish visitors and sessions. These Google cookies normally expire after up to two years, subject to browser restrictions and their settings. This is separate from the analytics data retention period described below.
You can change your choice using in the footer of any page. If you withdraw consent, analytics is disabled, its first-party cookies are removed where accessible, and the page reloads to stop the loaded analytics script. Withdrawal does not undo earlier lawful processing.
We remember your choice in your browser’s local storage for 180 days. This preference contains your choice and its timestamp, not your name or email address. You may be asked again after that period, on another device or if you clear browser storage. If browser storage is unavailable, the choice may not persist between pages.
You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Other services you choose to use, such as the newsletter form or an external booking page, may process technical information separately from Google Analytics.
Fonts and external services
Our website fonts are hosted locally, so displaying them does not require a request to Google Fonts.
Our website is hosted through OpenAI Sites. Hosting providers process technical information needed to deliver and protect the website. See OpenAI’s privacy policy.
The MailerLite signup form connects to MailerLite’s services when the subscription page loads and when you use the form. The provider may receive technical information, such as your IP address and browser details, as well as the information you submit.
Links to external websites, including book retailers and social platforms, take you to services governed by their own privacy policies.
Why we process personal information
Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on:
- Consent for newsletter subscriptions and optional analytics tracking.
- Steps requested before entering a contract, or performance of a contract, when discussing or delivering services.
- Legitimate interests in responding to general enquiries, managing business correspondence and protecting the website, subject to your rights.
- Legal obligations where records must be retained or disclosed by law.
How long we keep information
Our retention approach is:
- General enquiries and meeting bookings: up to 12 months after our last contact, unless an ongoing relationship or a legal need justifies keeping relevant records longer.
- Newsletter information: while you remain subscribed. We review inactive subscribers annually and remove information that is no longer needed.
- Unsubscribe records: we retain only information needed to respect your opt-out and document relevant consent or compliance.
- Service and transaction records: for the duration needed to provide the service and meet applicable legal, accounting or dispute-related requirements.
- GA4 user and event data: the retention settings are 14 months, with reset on new user activity switched off. These settings do not apply to standard aggregated reports.
Technical logs and backups held by service providers may have separate retention periods under their service terms.
Protecting your information
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information and restrict access to those who need it.
No website or online service can guarantee complete security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Access your personal information.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Request deletion.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Receive a portable copy of qualifying information.
- Withdraw consent without affecting lawful processing that took place before withdrawal.
- Complain to the relevant data protection authority.
