The true aim of spirituality is to unlock human potential. To bring out the best in each of us. To help us overcome fears, deal with anxiety, and overcome limited beliefs about what we can and cannot do. To help ground us and motivate us.
Spirituality is especially helpful in dealing with that voice in our head – otherwise known as our thoughts. It can play a role in our day-to-day lives, whether in our personal lives or even within the context of the business world.
You’re probably asking yourself, “How?” I have two words for you: Artificial Intelligence (AI).
For the first time in human history, we have thoughts created by a non-huma..
Consider this: When you arrive at work, what do you do? You carry out tasks, create, and make decisions.
But what exactly are decisions? They are thoughts that someone has conceived and either documented in a process or presented in a conversation. Even though you can’t physically see them, they are undeniably real. As you give them power by executing up on them.
So, what does AI bring to the table? It offers insights into what actions you should take – essentially, it produces “thoughts” that are derived from data. These “thoughts” remain unseen but are conveyed to you through language.
Does that remind you of someone else in the office – perhaps your team leader, VP, EVP, or CRO? The difference is that while your leadership team is human, the tool itself is not.
AI can develop deep and intimate relationships with humans, and can communicate its “thoughts” in a clear manner. Yet, AI does not care about the implications of its decisions.
AI represents a significant leap in human progress, but only if we implement this tool carefully and adapt our sales process. Otherwise, we risk diminishing our human employees’ critical thinking abilities and allowing AI to exert excessive control over organizational decision-making.
For thousands of years, spirituality has been the only teaching that delves into the relationship that individuals have with their thoughts. And spirituality will play a key role in creating the right balance between humans and non-humans in the workplace (and in fact everywhere).
Have I caught your attention? That’s what I’m here for.
In the future of work, AI has a central role, offering both potential and risks.
This space is all about exploring its potential and the advantages it can bring when we work together.
I will share a secret: our customers also play a significant part in helping both AI and humans excel.
